In this day and age, many movies have the problem of pretty much blowing their proverbial load with when they release trailers. Not that long ago it was common practice for a film’s trailer to be seen 2-3 months before the release of the film. Not now however, in this new cycle we get a teaser trailer, followed by a full teaser, followed by trailers 1 through 3, then FINALLY we get the “Official” trailer. And yes i am just as guilty as anyone else for watching these trailers 8 million times, but i wouldn’t if i didn’t have one to watch right? Anyway here are the top 5 trailers I am not so literally dying to see.
Bound by a shared destiny, a teen bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor embark on a mission to unearth the secrets of a place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory.
The Fantastic Four :
Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
The Jungle Book :
An orphan boy is raised in the jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear, and a black panther.
Crimson Peak :
In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds…and remembers.
Batman v Superman : Dawn of Justice :
The plot is unknown.
YEP I’m fully aware batman v superman isn’t even coming out this year, and that spot should probably go to Bond : Spectre, but whatever i do what i want. One thing all of these movies however have in common, is that those Plot lines are pretty much all we know about them. Tomorrowland has had a teaser trailer, but like seriously, if you saw it and it didn’t make you want to see a real trailer even more then you are sick in the head. Also all of these movies feature all star casts and directing talent, and many of them are retellings of past stories, yet they STILL have me sitting on my hands to keep from refreshing youtube to see if anything has been released or even announced. Let me know what movie you can’t wait to have probably ruined by a trailer with way too much plot in it!
