“A desk-bound CIA analyst volunteers to go undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent diabolical global disaster.”
So this movie is supposed to be a comedy first and a spy movie second, but I don’t think it knows that…but in the best way possible. What do I mean by that? I mean that when this movie is being a Spy movie, it does it very, very well, with great action and all that. Then when it’s a Comedy, its really very funny, and the periods in between are a great mix of both. Everyone here can really handle the action bits of the movie, and even more impressively, they can also handle the comedy very well. Some of the main characters in this movie actually have never done straight comedy before, so to see them so such a good job here right off the bat is great. This movie took the best parts of Bridesmaids, and added a great layer of action and espionage that come together really well. This movie is also another needed win for a female led movie and is definitely worth seeing, but do remember it is rated R for a reason.
