Review : Terminator Genisys

“John Connor sends Kyle Reese back in time to protect Sarah Connor, but when he arrives in 1984, nothing is as he expected it to be.”

Terminator Genisys is the planned reboot but also a continuation of the Terminator series. So this movie basically takes the events of the last movies, but it takes a new path by creating an alternate timeline that creates this new scenario in which we are placed. There are a few problems with this movie, nun of which are Arnold however, he is great, the rest of the movie however has this feel of a B list action movie. The kind of movie that doesn’t exactly know what to do with its plot so it just tries to used action sequence after action sequence to keep the movie rolling forward. It also falls into the trap of putting in and playing up aspects for sequels, before really ensuring if those sequels will actually happen. really and truly there is nothing special about this movie at all. The acting is okay, so is the action, so is the everything, nothing really stands out. Nothing about this movie says that it will or should be more than this one movie, or that it should even bear the Terminator name. All in all this is truly a forgettable movie, that lacks a lot.

Review Score : 4.5 out of 10
