“An assassin teams up with a woman to help her find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry.”
Hitman Agent 47 is a bit of mixed bag, some good, some bad. For one, there are some plot points that the movie gives away in its trailer and its own synopsis, that i think the movie would have done much better to keep a bit hidden. It also lacks the budget it needs for some of the aspirations it has as a movie, but it tries its best to work through these problems. The movie does do its action very well. It is well choreographed and well shot, in a way that fits into the overall look and feel of this movie. The action itself is very well paced and keeps the movie exciting. Some of the dialogue here is pretty cringe worthy, and hard to listen to sometimes. I think anytime someone has to say “You’re already dead…you just don’t know it yet,” that the writers of the movie need some inspiration. Hannah Ware, does a pretty good job here with her role, but her character development does seem a bit rushed. The entire movie does also seem a bit rushed, because they try to cram a lot of back story into this movie, to keep you up to mark, and help set up any possible sequels. All in all Hitman is another entry in the not amazing world of video game adaptations, but its not rubbish either.
