“Alice returns to the whimsical world of Wonderland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter.”

Alice in Wonderland came to the big screen 6 years ago, and now we have the sequel in Alice Through the Looking Glass…Why? So i didn’t have too much to say about the first Alice movie, and for this movie is even more so. That is to say, this movie basically made me feel nothing really, like nothing either side of the coin here. The movie is most definitely  gorgeous to look and it has some really nice production and set design that makes everything you’re looking interesting in that regard, but the movie itself seems empty. I’m sitting here honestly struggling to try and say what actually happened in that movie, because in all honestly, not much of anything did happen. And thats the kind of impression I think this movie is going to leave on most people, and that impression is apathy. I do think that this movie has to have been geared more towards younger audiences than the last Alice movie, and maybe that’s why it just doesn’t resonate with me, but I do think that is going to hold through for most people above the low teens. All in all I’ll say Alice Through the Looking Glass just kind of is, it couldn’t even sway me in one direction or the other to make this review seem more impactful.
